I am Edwin Bont, born in 1971 in Alkmaar a city in Holland.
Currently working as a postman, 20 hours a week so I have enough time left to do the things I like.
And I do like a lot of things!
Photography is one of them.
Filming, sculpting, drawing and painting are the other disciplines I like.

I started photography when I was 18.
Using a Minolta X300 and slidefilm.
Later, after I did some courses, I had my own darkroom and developed everything myself.
I liked barietpaper and fine printing.

After a couple of years I quit photography, didn't like working in the darkroom anymore.
A few years ago I picked it up again and start using digital camera's.
Digital is much more convenient than analog, I really like it.

I specialized in macro photography and now have an exclusive contract at Foto Natura, a Dutch stock agency and agent for National Geographic
